http://www.savethewaves.org/ To preserve the surf spots from being destroyed by constructions in coastal areas. They have saved a few surf spots in Tenerife from being destroyed, and help coastal development to be aware of the benefits of waves. The Tenerife construction will continue without destroying the wave and with new plans creating new artificial reefs for new surf spots...

Surfrider Foundation USA and Europe - dedicated to protecting our oceans, waves and beaches. United to save our surf spots from the destruction of progress. For example, it helped Tres Palmas surf spot in Puerto Rico from being destroyed by development and became a nature reserve. Surfers are nature lovers.
